Susan graduated with her Master's Degree in Acute Care Nursing from the University of Alberta in 1983.

After 16 years as an ICU nurse Susan changed careers and received her certification as an Independent BeautiControl Skincare, Spa and Image consultant in 1990. She's been a Director and National Trainer with this company since 1991.

Currently, Susan works as a free lance Make-up Artist for film and television and as an Image and Stress Consultant for corporations and individuals.

She has taken advanced training with top make-up artists Ve Neill (Mrs. Doubtfire, Batman) Jane Stevenson (Air Farce, This Hour has 22 Minutes) and has been called upon to provided expert commentary for CBC News and NTR Radio on the subject of "Image".

Between 1998 and 2002 Susan worked as the make-up artist for Global TV in Saskatoon and from 2001 to 2004 she contributed a monthly column entitled "Real Life Makeovers"(c) for the Neighbourhood Express paper, circulation 45,0000.

Make-up Career Highlights for Susan include a contract with ABC, CTV and TSN for Skate Canada and continuing work with the CBC for major Saskatchewan sports events.
